Festal Menaion
The «Festal Menaion» is a liturgical book of the Orthodox Church containing the services for the most important feasts of the Lord and of the Theotokos, as well as for selected great saints throughout the church year. It includes stichera, troparia, canons, and other hymns appointed for the celebration of Vespers, Matins, and other divine services. The Festal Menaion makes it possible to serve the principal festal services without recourse to the complete twelve-volume set of the monthly Menaia. The book is intended for use in church worship, for the kliros (church choir), and for acquainting readers with the Orthodox liturgical tradition.
